Una coppia veramente superba di candelieri in vero bronzo antico risalente alla prima meta’ dell’ ottocento, di provenienza da un paese nel nord Europa, probabilmente la Svezia. I bronzi rappresentano due grifoni alati che simboleggiano i mitologici protettori dei templi e della casa. Molto bella la patina di origine.

A very superb couple of candlesticks in real old bronze of the first half of XIX century, coming from a country of North Europe, probably Sweden .The bronzes represent two winged griffins, symbolizing animals of protection of temples and houses.  Look the magnificent patina of origin.
