Dieci stupende, raffinatissime ed importanti poggia posate in bellissimo avorio africano della regione del Masai in Congo Belga. Dieci visi di indigeni interamente scolpiti a mano con grandissima maestria databili intorno al 1930. Appartenevano ad un funzionario dell’ ambasciata Belga a Leopoldville, ritirato a Bruxelles nel 1955 ed i cui eredi hanno messo in asta gli oggetti africani. Bellissima patina e venature d’ origine.

Ten ivory knives holders 1930

Ten  magnificent,  important knives holders realized in very beautiful African ivory of Masai Region in Congo Belgium. Six faces of African men entirely hand-carved , dating around 1930. They belonged to an official of Belgium Embassy in Leopoldville, retired in Bruxelles in 1955, whose heirs sent to the auction house all African objects. Beautiful patina of origin.
